Aliaga, Nueva Ecija Official Local Candidates 2019 Midterm Elections

Two people are running for mayor of Aliaga, Nueva Ecija in the coming 2019 local elections.

Registered voters will elect for the elective local posts in
Aliaga, Nueva Ecija: the councilors, six in each of the city’s two legislative districts, on May 13, 2019.

Aliaga, officially the Municipality of Aliaga, is a 2nd class municipality in the province of Nueva Ecija, Philippines. According to the 2015 census, it has a population of 63,543 people.

Formerly it was called Pulung Bibit and Maynilang Munti (Little Manila). The First mayor is Aneceto Pere.

It has a comparatively cool and healthful climate, and is situated about midway between the Pampanga Grande and the Pampanga Chico rivers, in a large and fertile valley. Historically, the principal products were mostly agricultural such as rice, tomato, eggplant, squash.

Guidelines for Verification

  1. The Certified List of Candidates (List), as posted, is merely an initial List and subject to editing.
  2. All candidates are enjoined to check their names, specifically their Names to Appear on the Official Ballot, in the List.
  3. Any request for correction, if allowed, shall be communicated to the Regional Election Director, Provincial Election Supervisor, or Election Officer concerned in writing until 9 November 2018. The Election Officer shall in turn, submit a memorandum to the Law Department, by the fastest means of communication with regard to the request for correction.
  4. The Law Department shall determine whether or not the request for correction is allowed.
  5. The List is subject to the outcome of the various cases/issues pending before the Commission.
