Pope Francis is set to arrive in Manila at the Villamor Air Base on January 15, 2015 at 5:45 p.m.
He will then have a courtesy visit to President Benigno S. Aquino III and a general audience with senior government officials and members of the diplomatic corps at the Malacañan Palace in Manila at 9:15 a.m. on Friday, the next day of his arrival.
At 11:15 a.m., Pope Francis will lead a holy mass at the Manila Cathedral in Intramuros, Manila. His Friday presence in the Philippines will be ended with meeting with families at 5:30 p.m. at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.
On Saturday, he will be having a concelebrated mass near Tacloban Airport at 10:00 a.m., and lunch with the poor and survivors of calamities at 12:45 p.m. at Gonzaga Haus in Palo, Leyte. Blessing of the Pope Francis Center for the Poor will then take place at 3:00 p.m. in Palo, Leyte. He is also scheduled to have a meeting with priests, consecrated persons, seminarians, and families of Yolanda survivors at 3:30 p.m. at the Cathedral of Our Lord’s Transfiguration in Palo, Leyte.
On Sunday, Pope Francis will be having a meeting with religious leaders at 9:45 a.m. at the University of Santo Tomas in España, Manila. A meeting with the youth will then take place at 10:30 a.m. while the concluding mass at 3:30 p.m. at Rizal Park in Manila.
Pope Francis is scheduled to depart the country at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, January 19, 2015 with departure ceremony at 9:45 a.m. at the Presidential Pavillion, Villamore Air Base.
