The FEU Tamaraws will play the UST Growling Tigers on Wednesday afternoon, Dec. 2, in Game 3 of their UAAP 2015 Finals series. Today’s big game takes place from the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City and has a start time of 3:30 p.m. local time. The game can also be watched on TV on the ABS-CBN network or online through free live stream (details below).
The series is currently level at 1-1 and both teams will know how important it could be to take Game 3. Both finalists are looking to to be crowned champions in the penultimate game of the men’s basketball tournament after suffering their own respective heart breaks the last time they made it to this stage.
In UAAP Finals 2014 the UST Growling Tigers came close to beat the De La Salle Green Archers, after winning the first game of their best-of-three series. But Archers struck back in game 2 and defeated the Tigers also in game 3.
In Season 77, the FEU Tamaraws also found themselves in the same situation. The Tamaraws won the first game against the NU Bulldogs in their own championship series, before conceding game 2 and game 3.
In this finals series, FEU Tamaraws won Game 1 comfortably in Mall of Asia, but Game 2 was a back and forth affair, with the lead changing throughout the game. Ultimately though, it was the Tigers who came out on top to bring things back to all square.
