Photos of the official ballot containing the names of the presidential, vice-presidential, and senatorial candidates for the May 9, 2016 elections were released on Monday, February 15.

Aica Dioquino of GMA News uploaded photos to Twitter that show 6 names of presidential candidates, 6 vice-presidentiables, and 50 senatorial candidates.

The photos may help familiarize voters on the poll document, which also contain the names of candidates for district representatives, governors and vice-governors, Sangguniang Panlalawigan members, city mayor, city vice mayor and Sangguniang Panglungsod members, municipal mayors, vice-mayors and Sangguniang Bayan members.

Also Included in the ballot are the positions for one regional governor of the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao, one regional vice-governor, and 24 regional assemblymen.

Voters can also find in the ballot instructions on how to shade the ovals corresponding to the candidates they pick.

The ballot also instructs voters to only use marking pen in shading the ovals and not to vote more than the positions stated on the poll material.

revealed that ballots for the May 9 elections are shorter than those used in the 2013 elections.
