A third-year student was allegedly molested by LPU professor Hazam Bansa inside the boarding house of the professor in Intramuros, Manila.
The computer science student of Lyceum of the Philippines University in his statement has said that Prof. Bansa requested Mark Ezexiel Masbate to go to the boarding house, where the professor is presently staying, to help him download applications for the professor’s laptop use.
At first, they had some companies inside the room of the professor but when they were left alone the professor started to talk about sex. The victim said he was even forced to watch porn and later molesting him by touching his sensitive part of his body.
The allegation is now being probed by the university’s standing committee on sexual harassment.
The alleged 20-year-old victim has filed a case in the university after the incident. A video report of ABS-CBN has shown a photo of the accused professor and the alleged victim in an interview. The incident happened on March 3 and a complaint was registered with the university’s guidance office.
The professor, accused of molesting his male student, has been identified as a professor in mathematics and statistics at the university.
