Recorded by certain Noider Almanza Barraza on January 1, 2016, the minute-long clip showed a Colombian setting fire to a dummy dressed in blue with a made-up crown, and Philippines sash, alongside Steve Harvey’s dummy dressed in a tuxedo.

The video has since been viewed more than 130,000 times and shared more than 2,100 times on Facebook, with several Filipino users criticizing the act that has been described as “disrespectful.”

It is reported that the effigies were allegedly burned due to the mix-up of winners in the Miss Universe 2015 pageant held in Las Vegas late December, where Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutierrez was mistakenly crowned as Miss Universe, before host Harvey admitted the gaffe, transferring the crown and title to Miss Philippines.

The viral video came nearly two weeks after Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutierrez was erroneously crowned as Miss Universe 2015.
