Social media went abuzz after a freshman student at University of Perpetual Help allegedly stole P50,000 from his OFW parents.
According to the Facebook post of Eya Jhoice Samillano Villarin, while riding a public utility jeep she overheard a maritime student with a friend bragging about cheating on his OFW parents.
She narrated that he told his friend that his mother is a domestic helper based in Hong Kong, and his father is a worker based in Saudi Arabia. Apparently, they sent him P75,000 as a full payment to his tuition fee, but he only paid the downpayment equivalent to Php 25,000.
The most controversial part of the conversation was when he’s even got plan to check his girlfriend in a hotel with the remaining money.
“checheck in ko gf ko kakaratin ko sya 24 hours. Hahahaha hayahay!!!” [I will check in my girlfriend and I will have sex with her for 24 hours. Hahahaha hayahay!!!]
The post was “liked” by thousands of Facebook shares and shared hundreds of times as of posting time, earning a lot of angry comments and reactions from netizens.
