Viral video shows police officers allowed gunman to randomly shoot and scare SM City Rosales in Pangasinan mall shoppers.
The video, which was uploaded by Genaro Mariñas on Sunday, December 21, 2014, garnered more than 200,000 views and around 13,000 shares on Facebook as of press time.
The SM City Rosales mall shooting incident happened yesterday, where police did not arrest the suspect after seeing him with a gun outside the mall.
Police officers on duty did not respond safely when they were approached by the suspect holding a gun.
As shown in the video, they just let the gunman approached the mall shoppers while bringing a firearm.
Upon seeing the approaching gunman, shoppers and spectators fled the target place while the police officers only watched the gunman walking towards a group of shoppers.
Gunshots were heard while the suspect was shouting. After few gunshots fired, the suspect approached the police officers again. This time, a guy wearing jeans threw a flying kick to the suspect but failed. The next fighting offensive he threw to the suspect made the latter unconscious.
Police authorities have not yet released the names of those involved including the police officers on duty and the circumstances behind the incident.
