The Professional Regulation Commission through its Board of Medicine conducted the physician board exam on September 9, 10, 16 & 17 in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu and Davao.
The members of the Board of Medicine who gave the licensure examination are Dr. Clarita C. Maaño, Chairman; Dr. Edgardo T. Fernando, Dr. Miguel L. Noche Jr., Dr. Eleanor B. Almoro, Dr. Eleanor J. Galvez and Dr. Ma. Graciela Garayblas-Gonzaga, Members.
The September 2017 Physician Licensure Examination covered the following subjects: biochemistry, anatomy and histology, microbiology and parasitology (September 9); physiology, legal medicine, ethics and medical jurisprudence and pathology (September 10); pharmacology and therapeutics surgery and opthalmology, otolaryngology and rhinology and medicine (September 16); and obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics and nutrition and preventive medicine and public health (September 17).
