The Philippine Science High School System (PSHS) officially released on December 24, the 2014 PSHS NCE results.

A total of 1,231 out of 22,657 applicants who took the exam last October passed in the system’s 102 testing centers all around the country.
The National Competitive Examination (NCE), a scholastic aptitude test designed to measure Scientific Ability, Quantitative Ability, Abstract Reasoning and Verbal Aptitude of applicants, was originally scheduled on September 28, 2013 but was moved to October 12, 2013 to accommodate processing and communication delays due to the unpredictable weather conditions that befell the country in August.
The 2014 NCE results came out less than 3 months after the exam was conducted, which was a month earlier than the scheduled January 2014 release.
