In support of President Benigno Aquino III’s SONA 2014, Vice Ganda tweeted regarding protests against President Aquino over his unyielding stance on the Disbursement Acceleration Program and other issues.

Vice Ganda revealed that for the first time he got so emotional and affected while listening to SONA, successfully delivered by President Benigno Aquino III at the Batasang Pambansa Complex in Quezon City. The President discussed matters regarding the country’s economy, defenses, public works, education, and many more. (READ: A Reaction to President Aquino’s SONA 2014)

In his second tweet about the SONA of President Aquino, Vice said, in opposition to the demonstrators during the Fifth State of the Nation Address (SONA), “Khit sino ang maging Presidente may masasabi pa rin tyo. Kelan ba nakontento? Hinding hindi tyo makukontento. Dhil walang panahong perpekto.”

“Hindi lahat ng nagpoprotesta totoong nag aaklas. Yung iba dyan nabayaran lang at sinuhulan ng pambili ng bigas,” he added.

To our surprise, Bayan Muna representative and 2013 senatorial candidate Teddy Casiño responded to Vice Ganda’s tweets and accused spectators of the State of the Nation Address that they were paid billions of pesos through DAP in which Vice replied that not all were paid that’s why some were protesting.

Vice Ganda was among the celebrities who declared that they are voting for Casiño in 2013 elections, following fellow celebrities Boy Abunda and Pen Medina.
