Jobstreet Philippines has released a list of top 10 schools prioritize by employers in the Philippines when hiring fresh graduates.

This list was based on the 51 percent of respondent companies in this year’s survey, which claimed that the school of the graduate is important.
The same survey also revealed that employers mostly hired fresh graduates with actual work experience such as either from an internship, part-time job, or even civic work.
“Employers want college students who take their internships seriously and it matters na kung nagtrabaho na sila in the past, mayroon na silang natutunan so hindi na sila mahirap turuan kasi nandoon na ‘yung basic computer skills, and office etiquette,” marketing communications manager at JobStreet.com Philippines Eileen Camarillo-Go said at the launch of Jobstreet.com’s 2015 Jobs and Salary Report for Fresh Graduates.
Camarillo-Go said 80 percent of 450 companies surveyed in February replied that internship is something they would like graduates to have. She added that employers consider communication skills, trainability, competence, problem solving and analytical skills, and tech know-how.
