Thirty-two schools around the Batasan Complex in Quezon City will have no classes on Monday, July 28, due to President Aquino’s fifth State of the Nation Address (SONA 2014), DepEd official said Thursday.
Quezon City Schools Division Superintendent Ponciano Menguito said classes in the following are suspended on Monday:

- Fairview Elementary School
- Benigno Aquino Elementary School
- Manuel L. Quezon Elementary School

President Aquino is scheduled to deliver his fifth SONA on Monday afternoon. Around 10,000 policemen are set to be deployed to secure the area, as several militant groups are scheduled to hold protest rallies.
