In line with the celebration of the Feast of the Black Nazarene, some schools declared class suspensions in all levels on Monday, January 8.

  • – classes in all levels will be until 12NN, office operations is until 1pm
  • – all levels

MMDA advisory said that portions of España, Morayta, Mendiola, Arlegui, P. Casal, and Solano streets will be closed to traffic starting Monday, January 8, 2018 for the celebration of the Feast of the Black Nazarene.

Moreover, Manila Mayor Joseph Estrada, as per Executive Order no. 01 Series of 2018, has suspended classes in all levels, as well as work in the local government, on January 9, Tuesday, for the Traslacion or the procession of the image of the Black Nazarene, which draws millions of devotees to the city.

Regular classes are expected to resume on Wednesday, January 10.
