In a bulletin issued 11 pm on Sunday, state weather bureau PAGASA said Domeng is located at 670 km East Southeast of Basco, Batanes, moving west southwest at a relatively fast 25 kilometers per hour (km/h).
The tropical depression has maximum winds of 55 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 65 km/h.
Signal number 1 is now raised over:

Occasional rains with gusty winds are expected over the areas under Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal #1, PAGASA said.
The Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) will bring monsoon rains over Zambales, Bataan, Cavite, Batangas, Mindoro Provinces, Palawan and Western Visayas, and scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over Metro Manila, the rest of Central Luzon and of CALABARZON, Marinduque and Romblon.
Residents of the aforementioned areas, especially those living in low-lying and mountainous areas, are advised to continue monitoring for updates, coordinate with their local disaster risk reduction and management offices, and take appropriate actions against possible flooding and landslides.
