The PMA released the results of its 2016 PMA Entrance Exam on Sunday, August 21, listing down 1,046 passers.
A total of 9,609 qualified applicants took the PMA Entrance Exam (PMAEE) last August this year in 38 different testing centers nationwide. The PMAEE measures the mental ability of applicants in the areas of MATH (Algebra and Geometry), ENGLISH (Grammar, Composition, and Reading and Comprehension) and Abstract Reasoning (Verbal and Numerical Reasoning and Pattern Analysis). This year, currently enrolled college students were allowed to take the PMA entrance exam. In previous years, graduating high school students were encouraged to take the exam. However, with the implementation of the K+12 Program, interested students enrolled in senior high will have to take the exam by 2017.
Out of those who took the entrance examination, 1,046 examinees composed of 643 males and 403 females passed and had been qualified to continue to the next phase of the selection process to become a Philippine Military Academy Cadet.
These young men and women will take the Complete Physical Exam (CPE) which will be conducted at the Armed Forces of the Philippines Medical Center in V Luna, Quezon City. This phase will test their medical, physical, and psychological potential to belong to the members of PMA Class of 2021.
The complete list of the successful examinees is published below while the details on the schedule and things to prepare for the CPE will be sent through email and will be posted at the Academy’s website.
