Select China Bank branches will be open on the declared non-working holidays: December 24, 26, 30, 31, and January 2.
And to ensure that China Bank customers nationwide will not be affected by the holiday break, the bank’s electronic channels—China Bank Tellercard (ATM), China Bank Online (mobile and internet banking) and China Bank Tellerphone (phone banking)—are available 24/7, 365 days a year.
A total of 93 China Bank branches will be open this holiday season, most of which on a half-day banking schedule. The rest will be observing their regular banking hours—from 9 am to 4 pm or from 10 am to 4 or 5 pm—or shortened banking hours, which means closing one hour earlier than usual.
These branches will be accommodating selected transactions like deposits and withdrawals, while a few will be offering the regular banking services. Checks will only be accepted for deposit/safekeeping as the Philippine Clearing House is closed on these dates.
China Bank had earlier announced that a dozen of its branches will have a special Saturday banking schedule this December up to the first Saturday of 2015, on top of the 50 branches that are regularly open on Saturdays.
