The Blue Eagles, who have been favored to win it all, aim to fulfill expectations by sweeping their opponents in the first game of the best-of-3 affair.
The UP Fighting Maroons, on the other hand, will try to defy expectations some more and force a deciding Game 3 on Saturday.
UP’s big man big man Bright Akhuetie still unsure for Game 2 after incurring a hyperextended left knee injury in Game 1, per ABS-CBN News.
“I don’t know yet, but fingers crossed. I have to do the second evaluation tomorrow before I know what’s up,” he said a day after the injury.
