The Philippine Military Academy announced that Jheorge Llona, the son of a farmer from Daraga, Albay, is the top graduate of the Philippine Military Academy’s class of 2014.
The final and official list of graduating cadets of the PMA Siklab Diwa Class of 2014 was released on Monday, March 10, during the presentation of Top 10 at PMA in Fort del Pilar.
Cadet First Class Jheorge Millena Llona, a native of Maopi, will graduate on March 16, along other 222 graduating cadets.
PMA revealed that Jheorge Llona will be awarded the following merits: Presidential Saber from President Benigno S. Aquino III as Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, Philippine Air Force Saber, Academic Group Award, Management Plaque, Air Force Professional Courses Plaque, Joint United States Military Advisory Group (JUSMAG) Award, General Antonio Luna Award, and Australian Defense Best Overall Performance Award.
Reports said Llona will be joining the Philippine Air Force (PAF).
Following Jheorge Llona on the top list is Cadet 1CL Liza Jumawid Dango, a resident of Bulao, Cagayan De Oro City. Dango is the only female in the Top 10 and is class salutatorian. She will be joining the Philippine Army upon graduation. She will be receiving the Vice Presidential Saber, the Philippine Army Saber, the Humanities Plaque, and the Australian Defense Best Overall Performance Award.

The commencement ceremonies will be attended by the graduating PMA cadets and guest of honor President Benigno Aquino III who is also the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces of the Philippines.
