Jam Sebastian of Jamich, who gained popularity in the Philippines on YouTube, has died Wednesday, March 4, 2015.
The half of real-life couple JaMich passed away surrounded by his family, friends and his partner at the hospital, where he was confined for several months, Sebastian’s fiancee Mich Liggayu confirmed.
“Pray tayo ulit. But this time mag thank you tayo kasi magiging happy na si Jam with God. Di na siya mahihirapan. Let’s pray na mapuno siya ng love and peace. Angels of God, embrace Jam. Protect him. Lead him, God,” Liggayu said.
“We love you Jam Fernando Sebastian. I’m sure magiging sobrang ganda and happy ng birthday celebration mo sa Heaven. Sana madream kita na ipaalam mo lang samin na masaya ka na and healthy ulit with God. Thank you for everything… No words can explain. Until we meet again…” she added.
Aged 28, his struggle against cancer started when he was diagnosed with lung cancer in the first quarter of 2014. In February 2015, his family disclosed to media outlets that he had been placed under life support.
Jam Sebastian earlier asked his parents for “mercy killing” yet his mother refused.
Before his death, Jam and Mich were officially engaged in May 2014. It was Liggayu who proposed to Sebastian at the Philippine International Convention Center on May 11.
