The Mister World 2014 contest took take place on Sunday, June 15, with 46 handsome men from across the globe vying for the coveted title. Here are the official winners and results.

The competition featured five challenges—sports, talent, fashion and style, multimedia and extreme—and the winner will receive a grand prize of $50,000.
Mr. Denmark Nicklas Pedersen is the grand winner of the event held at The Riviera International Conference Centre, Torbay, Devon, England. Mr. World 2013 Francisco Escobar of Colombia crowned his successor at the end of the event.
Emmanuel Ikubese of Nigeria was the first runner-up and José Pablo Minor of Mexico, the second runner-up winner.

Why should you be Mr World?
MEXICO: “I wanna make a positive change in Mother Earth because we have to respect and take care of our planet because it is our home. I have the flag of Mexico in my back, and I would really want to have the flag of the world in my back. I would represent it very proudly and honored.”
NIGERIA: “I think Mr World is not the search for the most desirable man but the search for a man with desire to help others and to inspire people. It is also somebody who had the desire to make an impact to the world and society. Being Mr World will be another step close for me in achieving my dreams. And to be a dream come true to me.”
DENMARK: “I want to make a difference around the world for those who aren’t as lucky as us right here. I would like to take part in humanitarian missions, and difference and most important of all, my dad died when I was 2 years old from cancer. So, something I would like to do is help charity raise money. I believe the more money we gather…I think we will find a cure and more people will live and we can save more lives.”
