GMA 7 News Network is offering live coverage of the wedding of Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes. Four months after becoming engaged, and 4 years after officially a couple, their wedding is just hours away.
There are already hundreds of fans in Quezon City just to witness the Kapuso Royal Couple wedding ceremony. Organizers and other guests are arriving at the Immaculate Conception Cathedral in Cubao, Quezon City.
At 2:28 p.m., the marriage ceremony will commence with eight bishops and seven priests. This wedding event will be the biggest for the venue of the event since it became a cathedral in 2003.
The number of bishops and priests celebrating the Mass, according to Immaculate Conception Cathedral rector Fr. Ariston Sison Jr., is comparable to an ordination.
Sison said the eight bishops do not even include the main celebrant, Cubao Bishop Honesto Ongtioco.
Meanwhile, GMA News said that fans of Kapuso stars Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera will be allowed to share in the moment outside the church. The fans are allowed at a certain area in front of the church, where they set up barricades.
