San Pablo City, Laguna Official Local Candidates 2019 Midterm Elections

Two people are running for mayor of San Pablo City, Laguna in the coming 2019 local elections.

Registered voters will elect for the elective local posts in San Pablo City: the mayor, vice mayor, the Congressman, and the councilors, six in each of the city’s two legislative districts, on May 13, 2019.

San Pablo, officially the City of San Pablo, (Tagalog: Lungsod ng San Pablo), or simply known as San Pablo City, is a 1st class city in the province of Laguna, Philippines. According to the 2015 census, it has a population of 266,068 people.

Located in the southern portion of Laguna province, it is one of the oldest cities in the Philippines. By land area, it is the largest in the province of Laguna. Its population ranks sixth within the province after the cities of Calamba, Santa Rosa, Biñan, San Pedro, and Cabuyao.

Guidelines for Verification

  1. The Certified List of Candidates (List), as posted, is merely an initial List and subject to editing.
  2. All candidates are enjoined to check their names, specifically their Names to Appear on the Official Ballot, in the List.
  3. Any request for correction, if allowed, shall be communicated to the Regional Election Director, Provincial Election Supervisor, or Election Officer concerned in writing until 9 November 2018. The Election Officer shall in turn, submit a memorandum to the Law Department, by the fastest means of communication with regard to the request for correction.
  4. The Law Department shall determine whether or not the request for correction is allowed.
  5. The List is subject to the outcome of the various cases/issues pending before the Commission.
