
Class suspensions for Friday, October 14, 2016 are soon to be announced by Local Government Units (LGUs) due to the effects of inclement weather brought by Tropical Depression “Karen”.
In the latest weather update issued by PAGASA at 5:00 a.m., October 13, #KarenPH has further intensified into a tropical storm as it continues to move in a west-northwest direction.
At 4:00 AM today, the center of Tropical Storm “KAREN” was estimated based on all available data at 335 km East of Virac, Catanduanes (14.0 °N, 127.3 °E).
Estimated amount of rainfall is from moderate to heavy within the 400 km diameter of the Tropical Storm, state weather bureau said.

Fisherfolks and those with small seacrafts are advised not to venture out over the eastern seaboard of Central and Southern Luzon and over the northern and eastern seaboards of Eastern Visayas.
