Top Performing Schools in Electronics Technician Licensure Exams for 2018

A total of 41 colleges and universities, 17 private and 24 public schools, are among the top performing schools out of 280 in the 2018 aggregate data of electronics technician licensure examinations with at least 30 examinees and above the weighted passing rate of 80 percent. Mapua University-Manila, Polytechnic University of the Philippines-Taguig, Malayan Colleges Laguna, and Mindanao State University-General Santos City shared the No. 1 spot as top performing schools in electronics technician licensure examinations for 2018 with 100 percent weighted passing rate each.

A total of 4,085 out of 5,088 examinees passed the electronics technician (ECT) licensure examinations held in April and October last year. The weighted national passing rate for 2018 was 80.29 percent.

University of San Carlos in Cebu City placed second with 98 percent weighted passing rate from its 49 successful examinees out of 50.

University of Santo Tomas came in third place with 97.80 percent from its 89 passers out of 91 examinees.

Ateneo de Naga University was fourth with 97.30 percent weighted passing rate from its 36 successful examinees out of 37.

The fifth spot was Polytechnic University of the Philippines-Sto. Tomas with 97.23 percent weighted passing rate from its 35 passers out of 36 examinees.

Polytechnic University of the Philippines-Main earned the sixth place with 96.78 percent weighted passing rate from its 180 sucessful examinees out of 186.

Completing the top 10 performing schools are the Don Bosco Technical College-Mandaluyong (96.67% with 29 passers out of 30 examinees), Batangas State University-Alangilan (96.55% with 56 passers out of 58 examinees), De La Salle University-Lipa (95.16% with 59 passers out of 62 examinees), and Polytechnic University of the Philippines-Sta. Rosa (94.82% with 55 passers out of 58 examinees).
