A graduate of Remedios T. Romualdez Medical Foundation in Tacloban City topped in the March 2018 Medical Technologists Licensure Examination, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced on March 20, Tuesday.
Alvin Aurelia Bahin got an average of 90.40 percent, placing first in the list of 2,648 out of 3,644 who passed the Medical Technologist Licensure Examination given by the Board of Medical Technology in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan De Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga this March 2018.
Amabelle Son Marquez, a graduate from Southwestern University, ranked second with a rating of 90.40%.
Chelseah Denise Hernandez Torres of University of the Philippines-Manila placed third with 90.30%.
Marjie Sarmiento Interno of Far Eastern University-Manila landed fourth with 90.20% while a graduate from Adventist University of the Philippines, Jay Gabriel Chico Diesto, placed fifth with 90.10%.
The successful examinees who garnered the highest places in the exams are the following:
Adventist University of the Philippines in Silang, Cavite and Cagayan State University-Andrews Campus in Tuguegarao City tied at first place with a perfect (100%) passing percentage in this year’s medical technologists licensure examination, followed by Saint Louis University with a passing rate of 99.34%. Far Eastern University-Manila placed third with a passing rate of 97.48%.
