There will be no classes and office work in some universities in Manila and Quezon City on Monday, July 23, 2018 for President Rodrigo Duterte’s third State of the Nation Address (SONA).
Classes and office work in are suspended in anticipation of heavy traffic and mass demonstrations in the areas near the universities.

There will be also no classes in all levels in Quezon City on the same date.
Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista made the announcement on Twitter, saying the class suspension covers both public and private schools in the city.
